Big Sean was arrested on Thursday night after New York State Park Police received a complaint that a female had been sexually assaulted during a concert at Artpark State Park where he was performing with Wiz Khalifa.

Sean and another man Willie Hansbro were charged with misdemeanor counts of forcible touching, unlawful imprisonment, and sex abuse. They were later released on $500 bail but are scheduled to appear in Niagara County Court in Lewiston, New York, on September 6th.

Below is a statement from his lawyer:

“Last night, recording artists, Sean ‘Big Sean’ Anderson and Willie ‘Sayitainttone’ Hansbro were arrested and then immediately released by the NY State Police in connection with an allegation made by a female who was at their concert in Lewiston, New York,” said Scott E. Leemon. “Both men were charged with misdemeanors and they both vehemently deny the allegations. I am confident, that after further investigation, both men will be vindicated.”
